Are You Looking for a Tasty Slimming World Pork Recipe?
Sometimes on Slimming World, I can feel a little uninspired when I am trying to think about what to cook and eat for that evening's meal. That's when I usually turn to the internet for some ideas, as there are just so, so many recipes out there.
And that's the second issue: so, so many options! Where do you start looking? That's why I started to work on articles about syn-free SW recipes to make it a bit easier and quicker to find great recipes, depending on what meat you have on hand or what you like to eat. This time, we are looking at pork recipes.
Staying Syn-Free
Plus, when I'm looking for main meal recipes, I also like to try and find the lowest syn ones I can—or, if I can, syn-free ones, as is the case here. It helps you save all those syns for something a little more naughty, like something to curb that sweet tooth craving or maybe for a glass of wine or two on the weekend.
Here are 5 of the best syn-free Slimming World pork recipes I have found recently. None of the recipes are my own; they all belong to the blogs or websites I have linked to. I cannot guarantee the syn value but have given them a once-over to check as far as I currently know. But rules are always changing, so please check with your local rep if you are unsure!

1. Marinated Paprika Pork Tenderloin
Doesn't this marinated pork tenderloin look tasty? This recipe came from Vicki-Kitchen, which is a great recipe blog for all sorts of cuisine. This is a super simple recipe but gives a great, tasty result as you marinate the tenderloin in a dry rub for a few hours (or overnight if you have the time) so all the herbs and spices really get absorbed into the meat. Add some couscous and some roasted veg, and you have a great supporter syn-free meal.
2. Campfire Stew
This one is a great slow cooker recipe that I found on Life According to Mrs Shilts. I had heard of the idea of campfire stew bandied around on the Facebook groups quite a lot, but I had personally yet to find a recipe—until I stumbled on this one. It sounds great! It's really simple to make and packed full of free- and super-free veggies, meaning you're going to get plenty in, and it will help keep you full and aid your weight loss. And, of course, it's syn-free!
Recommended
I love slow-cooker dishes, as they are just so much easier when I am working, and it's easy to make a big batch for all the family. I think it will be great for the wintertime, so I will be keeping this one on record.
3. Pork Tenderloin With Creamy Mushrooms
I love creamy mushroom sauces, but thought I wasn't able to have them now that I am on Slimming World until I found this recipe! To keep this one syn-free, you need to alter the recipe a little, but it would be super simple and still yummy. You'll need to use your Dairy Healthy Extra and just replace the cream with Philadelphia Light—simple!
And the taste would be just as good, if not better, actually (I've been wondering if using the chive and herb one would be good!). I think this sauce would work great with chicken, too, or just on plain pasta.
4. Sticky Lemon and Garlic Pork
Missing your Chinese takeaway? Why not try a Slimming World Chinese-style dish? This tasty-looking noodle dish from SW Delights is perfect for those takeaway cravings. I am a big Chinese takeaway fan, more so than any other flavor; I just love the sweetness of their dishes and the awesome range you can get. We love sweet and sour, Peking duck, plum sauce, garlic soy, spring rolls—actually, it's making me hungry just thinking about it.
This recipe looks like it would be right up my street. Add the Slimming World Spring Rolls and some egg-fried rice, and you're on your way to a full-blown Chinese dinner.
5. BBQ Pulled Pork
Sugar Pink Food has some great Slimming World recipes (as well as loads of other great non-Slimming recipes), so it is worth following if you're always after inspiration. I think BBQ Pulled Pork is one of the most asked-for recipes in most of the SW Facebook groups I am a part of, so I thought I would include it as the last post here.
We love this dish and quite often make it in our house, usually in the slow cooker (although it can be done without one). It is really tasty, and the BBQ sauce is just as good as a bottle of store-bought sauce. If you cook it long enough, the meat will just fall apart. Top with your Dairy Healthy Extra cheese in a Healthy Extra roll or even in a baby gem lettuce leaf and enjoy!
